The Thrills and Chills Teen Book Club will feature a mixture of fictional graphic novels and young adult novels for ages 14 to 18 in the ninth through twelfth grades. This list of books was chosen by our young patrons who have regularly attended the Headlands Thrills & Chills Book Club for the last year! The YA novels may have spooky twists and turns as well as delve into the challenging lives of the teenage fictional characters. This group will meet on the THIRD Monday of the month at Headlands Branch from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.. Registration is required. Our September book is Twilight by Stephenie Meyer .

Starting April 1st (just in time for spring migration!), pick up a count list at the Headlands Branch to track how many types of bird you see. When you make it to 100, come back and pick up a small commemorative prize! Challenge runs year-round, so turn in your count list whenever you finish. And if you hit 100, pick up another list when you're done to find 100 more! Ohio has well over 200 species either as year-round residents or spring/fall migrants - so take advantage of how fortunate we are to live somewhere with such a variety of wildlife!
