A teaching artist from Parcel Arts will demonstrate different sculpting techniques using oven-safe polymer clay to make an alien, spaceship, and other space items. This program will take place upstairs in the Margaret Rivers Meeting Room on the upper level of the library. Same program will be repeated at 11:30 AM. This storytime is developmentally designed for preschool learners ages 3 to 5. For younger learners consider attending Baby & Toddler Storytime , which is specifically geared to children ages birth to 3 and their caregivers.

Join the Dungeons & Dragons Club for Tweens/Teens at R.H. Stafford Library. Led by teen participants, this weekly program is an opportunity to enjoy social time with other young people while practicing reading, math, and cooperation skills. This program is for tweens and teens ages 10 and up. To ensure the best experience for everyone, there are no exceptions to the minimum age requirement. Registration is required. Other important details: Materials are provided by R.H. Stafford Library and Woodbury & East Metro Homeschool Club, but participants are welcome to bring their own Player's Handbook , character sheets, and dice. You can use either the fifth edition or the 5.5 (2024) update. There will be no D&D Club on October 21 or November 11, because the library is closed both days.
