The Keystone Community Services Foodmobile will be distributing free groceries in the north parking lot at the Ramsey County Library in Roseville on the THIRD Monday of every month from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. This service is available to anyone in need. Participants will receive shelf stable items, produce, milk, meat, and other staples. Please note that the Foodmobile is a Keystone food shelf and thus participants can only access services once a month. Since the fall of 2016, Saint Paul Public Library has been a Next Chapter Book Club affiliate . Next Chapter Book Club offers community-based book clubs for adolescents and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our members (including some who cannot read) love the way books transport them to different worlds where they meet interesting characters and learn about exciting new things. Taking that journey with a group of friends makes it even more delightful and fun. This class offers participants an opportunity to learn to knit while creating a bookmark or small coaster. Participants will begin by learning how to cast on stitches and then learn the knit stitch and a bind off. Now students have everything they need to make a bookmark! This workshop is aimed at true beginners, though intermediate knitters may also find benefit in learning and practicing new stitches.
