Wenatchee is the Apple Capital of the World, at the meeting of the Wenatchee and Columbia rivers, with orchards running up every valley and the Apple Capital Loop Trail circling the river through town. The Wenatchee Valley Museum and Cultural Center, Ohme Gardens on the bluff and Mission Ridge's ski slopes are the family fixtures, and Leavenworth's Bavarian village is half an hour up the valley. NCW Libraries serves five counties from Wenatchee, with branches from Chelan to Moses Lake.
Holiday events for kids in Wenatchee, 2026: tree lightings, light displays, Santa visits and gingerbread workshops, day by day.
81 children’s events are on in Wenatchee in the next seven days, read every night from the calendars of NCW Libraries (47 branches, 461 upcoming programmes). Library programmes are free. Museum and zoo events say “admission may apply”; check the venue for prices.
The same calendars serve Chelan, East Wenatchee, Ephrata, Leavenworth, Moses Lake and Omak, so searching any of those names finds the same events.

Yes and no. Every event, time, address and link is open to anyone. An account only lets you save outings you plan to go to.
Each library and venue calendar is re-read every night, so a cancelled storytime disappears within a day. Times are shown in Wenatchee’s own time zone.
