By studying their edges, their shadows, their shapes, patterns, and behaviors, a new relationship is cultivated. Oxley Nature Center’s new Nature Journaling Group will be facilitated by Mary Seabourn with support from other Oxley staff and volunteers. Each session will include time out on the trails to make observations, time to reflect on what we’re noticing, time to write and sketch, and time for optional sharing and group discussion.

Tulsa is Oklahoma's second city, on the Arkansas River, and the Gathering Place, a hundred-acre riverfront park built for children, is the country's most ambitious new public park. The Tulsa Zoo, Discovery Lab and the Philbrook Museum's gardens are the other family fixtures, and the Art Deco downtown is the oil boom's legacy. Tulsa City-County Library runs twenty-four branches.
Halloween 2026 events for kids in Tulsa: trunk-or-treats, storytimes and pumpkin patches, day by day.
158 children’s events are on in Tulsa in the next seven days, read every night from the calendars of Tulsa City-County Library (36 branches, 953 upcoming programmes), plus Oxley Nature Center, Oklahoma Aquarium, James E. Bertelsmeyer Planetarium at the Tulsa Air and Space Museum & Planetarium, Tulsa Air and Space Museum & Planetarium and Philbrook Museum of Art. Library programmes are free. Museum and zoo events say “admission may apply”; check the venue for prices.
The same calendars serve Bixby, Broken Arrow, Jenks and Owasso, so searching any of those names finds the same events.
38 places to collect. Tap “I'm here” when you're at one and the stamp goes in your book; collect 5 and print the certificate.
Stamps live on your phone. Open your passport to see them all, print the certificate, or save them to your email.
Yes and no. Every event, time, address and link is open to anyone. An account only lets you save outings you plan to go to.
Each library and venue calendar is re-read every night, so a cancelled storytime disappears within a day. Times are shown in Tulsa’s own time zone.
Babies and toddlers, preschoolers, early grades, tweens and teens. Pick an age range above to narrow the list; leave them all off to see everything.
