Halloween STEAM: Puking Pumpkins!

Thu, Oct 15, 4:30 PM at Canfield. Free.

Love Halloween? Love Science? Join us in learning about chemical reactions in Halloween style - with pumpkins! We will spend the first portion of the program learning about why chemical reactions happen. Then, families will work together to scoop and carve a pumpkin. Finally, we will witness science first hand as we make the pumpkins puke! Program is intended for children in grades K-6. Registration is required for each child attending. Because we will be using carving tools, all children must be accompanied by a supervising adult. A signed waiver will be provided at the beginning of the program and must be signed for all attendees to participate. Registration reserves your spot for 15 minutes after the start of the program. Please note that, if you arrive 15 minutes or more after the program's start time, your spot may be given away to patrons who are waiting in the library. To ensure access to the widest audience of interested community members, the library is restricting overlapping program registrations. Any individual registering themselves for multiple programs in a similar timeframe, will be removed from all registrations. Please only register for the program you are most in
