Cite Your Sources!

Wed, Jan 13, 4:00 PM at West Waco. Free.

Librarians not only adore connecting you with research, they also want you to understand the importance of giving credit where credit is due by citing your sources! In this program, participants will learn how to use the library s physical and digital resources to research, how to create a bibliographic entry for four types of resources found at the library, and how to directly and indirectly cite those sources in a research paper. Join forces with our reference librarian to explore w hy we cite sources, how we find credible resources, the difference between a bibliography and a works cited, how an annotated bibliography be used as a research tool, and more! Participants will need to have a library card in good standing and bring their own device.
