Tweens and Teens Take On: Book Talk with Karen Brook

Fri, Nov 20, 3:30 PM at Multipurpose Room A & B (Entire Space). Free.

Join Safe Behavior, Strange Behavior author Karen Brook for a discussion on the importance of equipping tweens and teens to identify and build healthy relationships. This talk will provide context-specific guidance that is crucial for both young people and caregivers alike in knowing the red flags of unhealthy, abusive, or exploitative relationship dynamics. Participants will learn how to support loved ones with age-appropriate guidance, using language and examples that make complex topics easy to understand. Questions and answer time will follow the discussion and an opportunity to obtain her guide for youth, Safe Behavior, Strange Behavior. Parents/caregivers welcome to attend too. For ages 8 to 17.
