Chess is the perfect game for those interested in honing their skills in problem-solving, strategic thinking, and memory. But more than that, Chess is just plain fun! Join our teen volunteer and experienced chess player, Kapaleeswar (Eswar) Jeyakumar, in challenging your fellow classmates to hone and test your chess skills. Beginners are welcome! Eswar will also be available to help you learn the basics and answer your questions about Chess as a game and an intense sport. Please only register kids who are attending. Adults do not need to register.

At Tabletop Game Club, teens and tweens can share their favorite game or learn a new one -- anything from board games to tabletop RPGs or miniatures games! Drop in games such as Chess, Warhammer 40,000, and more are also welcome. This month, we'll be learning simple dice games to play with friends.

Join us for a monthly book club featuring the 2026-2027 Mark Twain Award Nominees. We’ll read a different nominee each month and come together to share thoughts, opinions, and favorite moments! Join us for a special story time all about reptiles and amphibians! Meet at Chicken N Pickle's main entrance, pass the front desk, and enter the Be Amazing room on your left. There, we will read stories and create fun crafts. Outdoor lawn games are always free to play.
