Enjoy break to the fullest with Teen Movie Night! Join us from 2–4 p.m. on November 24 in the Auditorium for a showing of Robots. In this 2005 animated movie, young inventor Rodney Copperbottom travels to the big city to show the world his creations. However, he discovers that the company of his hero, Bigweld, is under new management. Families are also encouraged to bring mittens, gloves, scarves and hats to donate to the library’s Mitten Tree. The donations will benefit local organizations.

To honor Black History month, we will look at the African art of coil baskets. From the Zulu people of South Africa to Uganda, coil baskets are beautiful works of art handcrafted from natural materials and packed with meaning and tradition. We will be taking a simpler approach with yarn and cord. For grades 6th through 12th. Registration required, but walk-ins will be considered based on supplies.
