Layton is a city between Salt Lake and Ogden at the foot of the Wasatch, next to Hill Air Force Base, whose Aerospace Museum is free. Antelope Island State Park, with its bison herd on the Great Salt Lake, is reached by a causeway west of town. Davis County Library serves Layton from its central branch.
Holiday events for kids in Layton, 2026: tree lightings, light displays, Santa visits and gingerbread workshops, day by day.
23 children’s events are on in Layton in the next seven days, read every night from the calendars of Davis County Library (8 branches, 269 upcoming programmes), plus Farmington Bay Waterfowl Management Area and West Bountiful City Park. Library programmes are free. Museum and zoo events say “admission may apply”; check the venue for prices.
The same calendars serve Bountiful, Centerville, Clearfield, Clinton, Farmington, Kaysville and Syracuse, so searching any of those names finds the same events.
