Wausau: Read to a Therapy Dog

Sat, Nov 28, 10:00 AM at Marathon County Public Library—Wausau Headquarters. Free.

Children can practice their reading skills this summer by sharing stories with certified therapy dogs! This fall, we’ll be joined by Teddy, a golden retriever, and Rose, a Great Dane. Children can bring their favorite books from home or borrow some from the shelves. Not only can Teddy and Rose bring a smile to your face, but they’re also willing and friendly listeners. You might even get a couple snuggles! Drop in anytime from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m. in the children’s area this fall on September 19, October 31, November 28, and December 19. This free event is open to children along with their caregivers. For more information, contact 715-261-7220.
