Exploring MoCNA's Virtual Exhibition, The Stories We Carry What can you uncover inside IAIA Museum of Contemporary Native Arts (MoCNA's) virtual exhibitions? Together we will explore surprising details, bold colors, creative techniques, and hidden meanings in contemporary Native artwork from the museum’s virtual archive of The Stories We Carry exhibition. The session will conclude with an art activity inspired by Denise Wallace's (Chugach Aleut) artwork to celebrate Native American Heritage Month. The activity will investigate how Indigenous artists express their identities, ideas, cultures, and perspectives today. --------------------------------------------------------------- For accommodations such as translations, ASL interpreters, or disability needs, please email library@santafenm.gov or call 505-955-2817. --------------------------------------------------------------- Photo image: By Marinainusa - Own work, CC BY-SA 4.0, https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=95113398
