Día de los Muertos Celebration

Sat, Oct 10, all day at Burton Barr Central Library. Free.

Join us for the 2026 D a de los Muertos celebration at Burton Barr Central Library as we honor the tradition of remembering family and friends who have passed. This year s D a de los Muertos exhibition is a display of nichos created by local communities. Visit the community altar to write messages to loved ones or bring a photo of a loved one to share on the community *photo wall. Papel picado, nichos, and ofrendas will all be included in this year's celebration on the 2nd floor. Search for clues in a scavenger hunt that will lead to other displays around the library. Winners collect a prize on the 5th floor! On display from October 6 through November 6, 2026. Burton Barr Central Library, 2nd floor by Arizona Room. *Please leave wallet-sized, 2 x 3 inch photocopies only. Photos will not be returned at the end of the event.
