Come From Away Presented by Independent Musical Productions

Sun, Nov 15, 2:00 PM at South Huntsville Public Library. Free.

Join us at South Huntsville Public Library as Independent Musical Productions presents the musical Come From Away. Come From Away is a musical based on the true story of the time when the isolated community of Gander, Newfoundland, played host to the world. What started as an average day in a small town into an international sleepover, when 38 planes, carrying thousands of people from around the globe, were diverted to Gander's airstrips on September 11, 2001. Undaunted by culture clashed and language barriers, the people of Gander cheered the stranded travelers with music, an open bar and the recognition that we're all part of a global family Come From Away's message is one of the kindness, unity, and resilience with their communities. IMP will be performing at Sandra Moon Performing Arts Center at the following dates in November: 19, 20, 21, 22
