What We Carry: A Collective Collage Workshop

Tue, Oct 20, 4:00 PM at Legler Regional. Free.

Join us for this collaborative collage workshop exploring storytelling and connection through images. Teen will begin by choosing a personal theme, then use magazines to create visual responses while listening to music. Throughout the workshop, participants rotate between collages, adding their own interpretation to each theme. At the end, each collage returns to the person who started it, transformed by the collective. The experience encourages participants to release control, share perspectives, and discover how individual memories and ideas can become part of a larger collective story. No prior art or collage experience is needed. Teens are encouraged to come with an open mind and a willingness to create, share, and respond to the ideas of others. All materials will be provided. This is a collaborative experience, so each teen's collage will be handled and contributed to by others throughout the workshop. Come as you are and be ready to create together. For teens in High School. Accessibility Need sign language interpretation or other accessibility assistance for this event?
