Read to a Therapy Dog

Fri, Oct 23, 4:00 PM at Library! at Cole & Ustick - 7557 W. Ustick Rd., Boise, ID 83704. Free.

Come meet dogs at the Cole and Ustick Library! Kids can read to a dog and the dog will love it! No registration required. What are the benefits of reading to a therapy dog? Children believe they are teaching dogs to read, but they are actually teaching themselves. With the focus on the dog, children feel less pressure or embarrassment about their reading skills. They have fun, build confidence, and increase their love of reading! You can bring a book to read or choose from our selection.
