Magazine Launch: Yaaruin Kids

Sat, Nov 14, 2:30 PM at 3600 Denali Street, Anchorage, AK, 99502, US. Free.

Celebrate the launch of a new Alaska Native children’s magazine! Yaaruin Kids is full of games, puzzles, and cultural learning adventures rooted in language, story, and belonging, just right for children and families who want to learn more about Alaska Native languages, cultures, and people. Join us in the children’s room to try out some activities from the magazine, explore the first issue, and meet some of the special contributors to the magazine. There will also be a storytelling at 3pm in the storytheater. This event is aimed at children aged 7 and older, but all are welcome.

More this week: kids’ events in Anchorage. Times are shown in the venue’s own time zone; check the library for changes on the day.
