Choose your favorite fall colors, patterns, and designs to create a one-of-a-kind bowl you can take home and enjoy all season long. What child doesn’t love the circus? The animals, the acrobats, the clowns! Come prepared to enroll in Circus School! Kids will participate in stations related to being a circus star, such as balancing on a “tightrope”, juggling bean bags, learning animal walks/yoga positions, mastering the ring toss, acing clown training, and they will all perform in a grand finale performance! This program is designed to offer a variety of dramatic play opportunities for children. Dramatic play helps the child become familiar with the world around them, while being in a safe setting where they can explore, learn problem solving skills, and interact with others their age.

Sherrie Tolliver, of Women In History, will take the audience back in time as NASA “Computer” and mathematician Creola Katherine Coleman Gobel Johnson (Katherine Johnson). Beginning with her birth in rural West Virginia, Katherine will share the story of her path to becoming a mathematician. Born at a time when there were many barriers and challenges to getting an education or doing the work she dreamed of doing, she dared to dream anyway. By using her intelligence and with the support of family and friends, she was able to achieve her dream. Best for elementary students through adults.
